Sypnosis from Goodreads:
In 1920s Manhattan, Magnus Bane hobnobs with the elite at a glamorous Jazz Age hotspot.
The immortal Magnus Bane is making the most of his time in the Roaring Twenties: He’s settled into New York society and is thriving among the fashionable jazz set. And there is nowhere better to see and be seen than the glamorous Hotel Dumort, a glittering new addition to the Manhattan landscape. But a different type of glamour may be at play.
My Thoughts:
I don’t know, I mean this one didn’t really do it for me. It was good, but not great, that’s just my opinion though. Perhaps my expectations were too high after the beauty that was in the fourth novella, but either way I’m looking forward to reading the rest of these novellas. In this one, I loved how the authors portrayed Magnus, and I liked the setting and the emotion towards the end, I mean I didn’t expect that! But even so I feel like this one should’ve been longer. The next novella sounds interesting though so I’m definitely excited for that!
Until next time, happy reading:
