Also, the general promts to 77 Saturday are:

So, without further ado, let’s get 77-ing!

My first choice was my current read at the time, The Grace Year by Kim Liggett. It published on the 15th of October, 2019 in Australia and you can find my full review here:

Title: The Grace Year

Author: Kim Liggett

Excerpt: “So we don’t escape,” Kiersten says. “They can’t have us running wild with all that magic.. all that power.” She leans forward, lowering her voice. “I feel it happening already. There’s a tingling deep inside me, right here,” she says as she opens her cloak, stretching out her fingers below her navel.

Thoughts: The Grace Year has had to be one of the most unique and compelling books that I’ve read this year! It’s absolutely addictive and unlike anything I’ve read before! I love how it spans across multiple genres too, it’s Young Adult Fantasy with a dose of Thriller and a lot of intrigue packed to the brim! I could hardly put it down! And it’s brilliantly haunting and wholly captivating!

Note: I received a finished copy of the book from Penguin Books Australia in exchange for an honest review. ☺️

If you think you’ll enjoy The Grace Year, you can add it to your Goodreads TBR here:
